Simplicity

Heartbeat of my soul Oh, simplicity come unto me Flow through me that I may be enlightened That life’s complexities be rendered helpless Be not dismayed and be not in awe of me For what I say I heard from you For our souls are one The voice I hear within is you And all that would enlighten me Like love, that touches every increment of our souls For truth unescapable, we will all stand Entranced by her beauty and completeness

Hi Bill, yes, simplicity eliminates the clutter of disorder and complicated things that don't need to be complicated. To me it can be like poetry. I try not to make my poems too high falutin' and overly ornate, to just pen what I feel from the heart and soul. Superb penning, Bill. ~

Nice to see a free verse from your Bill.. sometimes it is simple words that are needed.. why do some people have to complicate things like these politicians we have and wanna be politicians online.. you always speak fairly and do not make offensive comments,which is very important.. on this site ive seen people play both sides... great poem..

I have too, Silent One. I try to stay out of politics since I'm not a politician. I welcome all comments of how we can be unified and behave with respect for opinions different from ours. As i read this i cant help but resonate with these powerful words that you’ve delivered in such a creative manner! The flow and cadence of it shows and depicts really deep thoughts. It felt like this was a bleed out from your heart. As it also has this very serene tone whilst contemplating .
