She Stood Alone

"a dagger of pain, a tear of grief" Quote by _Constance La France Welcomed to the world with exalted joy,  family waiting for a celestial blessing,  they believed in miracles, believed in prayers, bringing immense bliss, she was the answer!  Life changed, when fate thrust misfortune on her, hurtful words hit her like a dagger from every direction,           she stood alone, resolute, unperturbed...               inflicted, she bled profusely inside.               a shiny mirror shattered into a million pieces!  The rose dried, delicate petals withered and dropped,  one after another, on the hard ground,              There was no noise of the bleeding heart,  No one could see the gaping wound, the secret tear of grief,           No one knew the softness of the flower                turned into a steely determination! Dear Jay, I am so glad to know you learned some Bengali - and, you are interested in reading my book. That’s wonderful! Right now, I don’t have any copies with me - my brother will pick up fifty copies for me soon - when he is back from California to Kolkata on 26th. If you can send me your address in India, I will arrange mailing you a copy. We may use soup-mail to stay in touch. BW ~ Mala

Dear Paige, Thank you for visiting my page. She was resolute and strong, but she did not protest vehemently, which she should have - that's the tragedy. Love, My Dear Friend ~ Mala

Dear Susan, Thank you. Really appreciate your visit. When much younger, there were some emotions I used to feel ! I have overcome those feelings, still they haunt me sometimes. Glad that you have felt the intensity of those emotions. Hugs, Dear Friend.
