Sharing the Oneness of Love

Like clouds drifting through a sun-brightened sky, My thoughts start to ask, where, what, when and why. Why am I here with you, what must I do? How do I determine what’s really true? Love offers something we can hold on to, You pledge to me, as I pledge love to you. We’ll give as freely as we will receive, Accept the oneness in which we believe. Peace is embellished by those who are quiet, Living in the present, no end in sight. Forget your past, all happiness and strife, Easing tension like slicing with a knife. This is the way to live a mindful life. Two living as one as husband and wife.

This poem illustrates a marital bond too deep and blissful ! When two hearts are in love, nothing will seem a problem. It is the kind of love a man and woman are called for in life. Such a couple sets inspirational example to their children to follow suit....

It does give the children something to see instead of just hearing words about marriage and love. Thanks for your mindful comment today. I need them right now, Sara is still struggling with physical therapy and pain from shoulder and back ... going back for another MRI, so need prayers. Blessings my dear friend, Bill

At a time in my marriage I remember writing that we cared enough to stay together but didn't care enough to be together. Life changes us through the years, and so does our love. Sometimes it's deep and caring, and sometimes you find yourself wondering what poison to use ! But through it all we are husband and wife. Your poem is true and wonderfully written Bill.

It's not meant to be all sugar and spice and everything nice. There has to be some challenges so we can learn and grow. Nothing stays the same forever in this physical world. Thanks for the mindful comment, my friend. Bill

I tell my husband that I love you all the time, I LIKE you well, less often, or sometimes. That said the oneness of a man and woman married is sort of a glimpse at the Trinity and God Himself.

It does not mean you don't Love someone just because you don't really like them sometimes / or their behavior. I agree, the oneness does remind me of the oneness of the Trinity. Thanks for sharing your insight with me. Write On! Miranda Bill

You exemplify the living as one and I'm eternally grateful for your thoughts always asking who, what, where, when why. In so asking you engage your loving spirit ending strife....no greater gift than ending or diminishing a person's strife. Thank you for serving the world with your words. I cherish you my dear hubby & soul mate FOREVER

I'm rubber, your glue, bounces off me and sticks on you. Second childhood and all that stuff. :-) Life is better with you in mine! Hugs, Bill

That second stanza is just beautiful, Bill. Can I put it on my front door to remind me of what it's all about?! Please advise. Thanks, gw
