Sunlight falls gently through the soft blue skies Breathing serenity, so the heart smiles Songs of joy in the spirit who implies Tempting the morning with rainfall, trials Racing to inspire the heart who beguiles Shadows caress the soul who loves always In the passion, the promise of a hope Who leaves poetry of pleasure and praise Dancing around the leaves of oaks who grope For moments of laughter, helping lives cope Silent reflections whisper through the night Caressing the still darkness, inspiring With glow of glitter, shimmering starlight Moon rising, graceful - alive, aspiring To bring the rhythm to the rhyme, untiring It's All About Three Q's Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Constance La France Theme chosen: Nature Form chosen: Quintain Date: July 10, 2022

Gina, my friend, my "heart smiles" within the "whispers of night," the "shadows caress," the "shimmering starling." Your imagery of the serene always stands out in its freshness and its ability to draw me into these experiences with you. Congratulations on your win. Blessings and a hug dear friend.
