an enchanting Haiku, Charlotte. I love the metaphor/image you created comparing the last night's wine glasses refract. I don't think I'll ever think of a sunrise the same...you created the perfect, lasting image for me. Am faving this, Sara

Love it. I'm reminded of The Eagles' 'Tequilla Sunrise' in title only but there's a possible air of poignancy in so few words here ..as I read it. Could be the complete opposite! :) I want to know what happened the night before and that is kudos to the power of your words. Cheers - Gary

Do you drink from the bottle, or are you more sophisticated? Just thinking of the clanging from the glasses the next day. Red wine at night. Shepherds delight. White wine in the morning. Shepherds warning. Probably why you don't see shepherds in the morning.

Such a nice follow up to your last haiku. Was it intentional? Anyway, Sauvignon sunrise makes for a great five banger

not really intentional, though it did occur to me it kind of goes well with the other one..i find when i write a haiku i end up with several different versions of it, and i then have to choose which one i'm going to use - there are four or five versions of this one!

Haiku tell us stories, sometimes secrets. Love the Sauvignon sunrise most. Bol~Anaya
