Romantic, love inspired, Redolent with perfume. Reach out, touch the petals, Reveling in velvet Rapture. Brilliant hues of Rainbow shades so varied. Remember, they have thorns.

Nicely done Kim. I've always thought of roses as a tricky temptress. Luring you in with her beauty and then ripping you to shreds with her thorns.

This is a lovely poem Kim. Can almost smell its perfume! Reminds me of the saying,’ Stop and smell the roses’. Roses are my favourite (especially red, romantic ones) Well written. Really enjoyed reading it. Thank you for sharing.
