Sometimes, seeing them, I feel people are crazy..... ! But those such craze will see me as an outdated old crone.... after all clothes and fashions are one of individual choice.....

Yes, after all, it was us(?) boomers that made blue jeans into a religion. (Even those a little older than me -- I'm about 72 -- thrived on White Levis, as I recall. So, everything gets recycled anyway, including fashion styles. Spot-on comment, Bill.

Hello Gersjon, when my jeans were ripped I would sew them up. Now they charge too much money for ripped jeans. i am not a fan of ripped jeans. enjoy your evening my friend.

Your jeans have REAL holes -- holes from jeans which 'paid their dues!' Not like the fake designer jeans the slaves to fashion snap up...

Gershon, I loved this rhyme. Pure fun. When we went to school, heaven forbid if you had torn jeans. These days, you pay $300 for a pair of ripped jeans. This is a totally different generation. Thanks for the smile. Well written, Blessings ~ Debra

$300 for a pair of ripped Jeans?! That's what designer jeans used to fetch on the black market in the former Soviet Union. Oh, well. My uncle hated when my cousin wore jeans, let alone ripped jeans…what happened to patches. Now they’ve added distressed sweaters. Where have all the pretty clothes gone…boo hoo!

Anselmo, I've been pondering your question as well myself. I think that they bring the beach to the royals. After all, with a 58 million pounds sterling salary to work with (as of 2018!), the Royal Family can truly say: "Money is no object." lol :) gw
