I measured my words carefully Sweet verses I wanted you to drink To help you escape your misery A new beginning awash in pink Tears in your eyes, I watched you blink A slight smile a knowing look I witnessed how your shoulders shook Your sadness was breaking away Rewritten pages in your book Colored words a brand new day Inspired by Dr. Ram Mehta to try a new form.
