Like the dawn’s gentle hue
Whispering hope over your heart
Grinning a lemony, laughing grin
That seems to praise Him
The way a child might – with praise
That is young and wild and alive
Filled with grace, saving grace,
That wonderful feeling that reminds
Giving Him a heart and soul, a love
Is more of a gift to the heart
Than to the One who opens the door
To sharing heaven’s sweet secrets
Like the stars twinkling, so alive
Breathing a music into the eyes
With a shimmering joy, a promise
A light filled with gentle kisses
Which silence and lift all depression
With a kindness that beckons
In trembling sighs, memories
Of a life colored in hope and faith
Flourishing with the joy of grace
A fire on the inside, a delight
To intimate and inspiring, so bright
Only His beloved children can see
The gift that He gives is complete peace
The gift that He gives is contentment
The gift that He gives is fulfillment
The gift that He gives is a promise
To always be available, like the wonder
Of One who knows that love is the answer
To a prayer for sincerity and serenity
The promise of a love that brings dreams
Alive, full of joy and a smile that reveals
All the hope and heart and happiness
Discovered in a prayer for His glory to fill us
With the sweetness of a gift only He can give
A gift of genuine grace when we fall on our face
And pray to the One who made us and gave us
The chance to reach out to Him with faith
Like salvation that comes from this grace
Love brings hearts to a place where they say
“He is the answer – He is the One”
Lift up your soul and always know He is in control
His love will bring you home and give you all you hope
With assurance that He has come down to earth
To save you from the destruction and sorrow
Of a life lived without Him, a life that is ineffective
A hopeless, pathetic life… without the One who gives
The heart and soul of love to the one who listens
And asks Him to be their Savior, their answer
To every worry, every fear, every doubt
The answer to every hope and prayer
The answer that truly does care
Repent, believe and receive
Salvation, a gift that never leaves you
A gift of grace from a God who knows
Without Him, you are surely ruined!
1 John 1:9 KJV - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
