Potd How I So Long For You

~I Long ForYou~ In this star-studded autumnal, late, still night. The red, cinnamon candle burns as my soul, so bright. The room, a forest, of most sensual you. With rainbowed walls, that enhance our bodies, too! How I utterly desire your soft, olive skin. And deep eyes that so hotly draw me in. Picture us, lost in love’s deep, aquamarine sea. An aqueous, sensuous, fairy dream of you and me. We can flow with moonlit,synergistic clouds Magically, fearlessly, saying… I want you, out loud! The loving, lace curtains flow gently, the winds on our lovers’ backs. For there is no tomorrow, when there is nothing in the world lovers lack! Blow your warm, rose scented blossoms on my pounding chest. You are my forever treasure, for in loving you, life is truly the best! 9/16/2022 ~1~

Pangie, beautifully written night of romance with the wind on your backs and the lace curtains moving in rhythm with you. You write skillfully of romance in delicate "rose scented" steps. I see your meaning but it is encased in soft, but poignant, images. So well done my friend! Blessings to you. And, what did you think of our surprise September rains?! Pangie, I had to open a window after reading this for the room had suddenly gotten warm, lol! You have a gift for writing this kind of sensuality as I have seen in some of your previous love compositions. Sensuous, but not overtly graphic. Romantic, but not over the top. It's a fine line, and you navigate it well. I particularly like the thought that there is no tomorrow, for lovers tend to lose all track of time. Also love the line "We can flow with moonlit,synergistic clouds"... gorgeous! Congratulations on POTD, dear lady! John

John, what a fun first line. I nearly rolled off the couch with laughter. Not kidding! Poetry and passion~ whooh! Some sensual cocktail. Mountains don’t turn me on, no matter how great. I love trees and flowers and animals…but a male animal with a soul, a brain and love? I can’t think of anything better on earth.you are correct,,,it is a fine line to write this way.i do not like cold poetry that’s a collection of words to fit a form! Glad you liked it, I did!
