Poetic muse --opposing

In loneliness, stranded in a row boat in dark nights, Looking for the beacon of light, last hope to survive, In sadness and despair, even the bright day looks so gloomy, The nights seem haunted by the dark shadows in mind, When one loses hope to survive being separated by lover, Feel like jumping over from the cliff, and reunite in another life. With the lost muse, eat, drink and be merry, Invite some friends and forget about all the worries. With lost muse, nothing comes to mind, A bright day is bright, a dark night is dark, With lost muse, get on the cliff, and glide like a bird, There are no tears to shed, only to be amazed by beautiful valley underneath.

So the mood in the second part is in stark contrast with that of the first. In the first, while the zest for life is totally missing, in the latter, life with enthusiasm bubbles. Well done dear Jay. All the Best.

Nicely done, Jay. Ah, the elusive muse...you've captured her essence quite well. Best wishes with the contest, Sara

I've never had a muse, so I'm accountable for whether or not I write anything at all. It doesn't hurt to take time off and refresh our imagination. Good luck in the contest, Jay.
