Piano Music

Piano music plays as my mind drifts away From things I want to forget about today My heart is eased and my soul it does sway To the melody in my mind that wishes to stay A dreamy floating escape to the calm bay I can imagine the peacefulness where I lay There is light in the darkness to find the way Through lengthy tribulations from day to day A refuge with notes playing, erase all the dismay Piano music lifts me as I continue on to pray Heidi Sands 3/3/17 Placed joint 1st in the Standard Contest 160

I do so love piano music and whenever you bow to pray it's nice to be able to have the music to soothe and help bring you to that quiet place where you can commune with The Father. Very healing. Nicely done Heidi. Loved this. God Bless, JB

Really lovely monorhyme Heidi, very peaceful and soothing, hard to do a monorhyme without it feeling forced but you succeeded.

What a peaceful poem Heidi. I could hear the piano playing softly in the background I wish I could tell you the notes but I could definitely hear it. Another great write Heidi thank you for sharing this one is definitely a fav. :) :)
