I love the home of the free I love the home of the brave I love my freedom of speech United States of America

Amen, God bless US of America per these sentiments, milestones paid in blood. Thank u for SERVING & enduring a thankless war, second guessed by a majority in the 1970s? I came to USA in 1983, left in 1988 for my native land. I gave up on Prez. Raegan's1986 Amnesty. Why? I know I can come back to USA, not easy but not impossible with Covid. My two children & my first wife live near D.C. I came "home again" to evangelize, remarried. She has yet to see a land I call PARADISE

I do not want a handout; I just want the opportunity to live my life and make my own choices. I'll gladly pay the price for the wrong ones and accept the blessings of the right ones. I wish no one harm. On a lighter note, it's best said in a song I've heard: "All I want to do, is have a little fun ... and I don't believe that I'm the only one. lol Have a fun day, Caren. Bill

Wow.. Never more needed Bill.' The opposite is done to what is Advised that's being done..' I was Just thinking today on Brexit, was that To some extent a means of dividing people? Started by pro neg world oppressors (that got Out of control ) for them, so covid got pushed Through? I mean the two eras run in tandem One after the other both division driving events Just a thought.'

Thank you, Lasaad. I'm trying to explore some other forms than my usual for a while. I'll always prefer sonnets, but they're other forms that may communicate my voice as good are better. Thanks for the comments, Bill

Thanks, Milt. I did it first with 7-7-7-9 words, then tweaked it to be 7-7-7-9 syllables. I'm going to write some more of these. Just have to post as free verse for now. I've been very busy lately, will be catching up on reading and commenting over the next few days. Happy Trails, Bill
