My passion burns eternal holding strong to every branch shaking as I helplessly watch you leaving out my way Your heat it was demanding exciting to my fading flame ignighting feelings where gentle winds would dare blow Your sparks were undivided breathing in through my every thought your fire has long been smoldered the wild smoke has gone astray But I know . . . Very effervescent poem, Tim. It dances w/intense imagery. I generally don't cross examine another poet's critique, but I have a brief addendum to Vlad's comment. Free verse may offer more scope of language to some poets, but there are different types of fire too. Laser is more focused than a flame thrower. Depends on one's preference of use. Just my opinion on the matter of poetic creative license. Love this poem though. A 7 w/a big smile. Love and peace to you, my friend.

Hi Tim, a beautiful write from your pen once again. I love to read free verse for it seems to give greater scope to the poet and you have used this scope so well in this write.
