Passion Burns Eternal
My passion burns eternal
holding strong to every branch
shaking as I helplessly watch
you leaving out my way
Your heat it was demanding
exciting to my fading flame
ignighting feelings where gentle
winds would dare blow
Your sparks were undivided
breathing in through my every thought
your fire has long been smoldered
the wild smoke has gone astray
But I know . . .
Love will rise again from the ashes
a naked soul will soon fly free
tomorrow will bring us freedom
and happiness will be
