Overwhelming

Lover, how you swagger in, so boldly brash Overwhelming reason to seductive state Taking my lips under sunset's final flash Passion rich colors we recklessly create I am warned of craters left once comets crash Yet I blaze crimson with you, defying fate If this night becomes but a memory shed Into my gray age, let your thunder be red 3/24/23 Writing Challenge 'O' Words Contest Sponsor: Constance La France

Passion in a fiery red, but i think not that this here beau will forget, the seduction ne'er a memory will it be, but a crash bang flash, a memory to be held and had, for all eternity. I just thought how could anyone forget or let a woman like this leave his eyes, your thunder will be red, he'll seek you out without a doubt. I LOVED YOUR POEM MICHELLE. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

I'm glad too Wendy - when I think of overwhelming those covers of romance novels come to mind :)

Yet I blaze crimson with you, what a brilliant line Michelle. My favorite color has always been red, and now I see why, who needs any other shade of excitement but red. love it

Actually I had first planned to use ornate as the theme but the final poem had other ideas, so I changed to overwhelming - thank you for your comment~
