".... could not stop for death- he kindly stopped for me- the carriage held just ourselves and immortality." Quote by _ Emily Dickinson Relentless struggle to take in air, my voice so rasp. Monotonous effort, to force my body to breathe. Agonizing, laborious striving to inhale, I gasp. All energy spent, a body not worthy of life, I seethe. Too weak to carry on, as hopeless as it seems, “Could not stop for death, he kindly stopped for me.” To end this misery, was only in my dreams, “The carriage held just ourselves and immortality.” A calm settled as images of my bygone years showed. All pain diminished, as visions of heaven came to me. The irony of death giving me life was blissfully bestowed. Peace beyond dreaming on our journey to the cemetery.
