One of a Kind
Your grave had my tender love written all over it
As my heart seemed buried with you in frozen ground
At the time, my strength you always respected left with you
No-one anymore to tell me how it is with honesty
No-one else to pursue our sole purpose together
I only remember black crows cawing in the empty graveyard
As if I was the last one on earth, alone in the world
For the first time, unsure if I would make it, but I did
For you, I faced each day given to me, one at a time
Even though I knew part of me would be broken forever
I would do it for you, survive the harshness life delivers
Accept that I will never again have what we had
---- Because we as people are each one of a kind ---
