Why be concerned with transparency People are blind, they really can’t see With distortion and illusion in the word today And bias and lies in what people say Just be who you are, one of a kind The truth will totally blow their mind They’ll be so confused trying to figure you out Their miscalculations will still leave them doubt They’ll still try to mold you and make you conform For uniqueness to them is the start of a storm The fullness of creation will never be complete If we all march together to one single beat No one can truly know all of another The closest possibility would be one’s mother

I just love your sonnets, Bill. This one is filled with your wisdom and insight. People see what they want to see in another, sometimes a projection of a darker aspect of themselves. I don't always understand the motives...but you're soo right. If we all conform, creation will be incomplete...maybe that's what's wrong with the world today? Pondering. “ For uniqueness to them is the start of a storm” this i agree with you totally dear Bill, this resonates so strongly, and I felt like i needed to hear/read these wise words truly. We live in a cynical world that would doubt anything and anyone, especially because most have seen and felt negativity for too long, its hard to accept and believe someones intentions can be pure: your advice here is appreciated deeply. And i agree no one really knows.a fave for me: every word speaks volumes. Thank u

I'm always happy to hear my poetry resonates with a reader, Ink. We are bombarded with negative in the daily news and in our daily lives. A positive opinion or person stands out. People in general resist those that say and do things that don't match their agendas. I think the knowing comes to some of us at a deeper level than the popular physical level.
