In a celebration of death and fright,
goblins gather under the pale moonlight.
And Jack-o-lanterns bathed in candlelight
will morph into orange gargoyles tonight.
While vampires and witches, masters of flight,
fly low in the shadows, just out of sight.
And gruesome ghouls appear a ghostly white,
while werewolves baring fangs, threaten to bite.
Though young trick-o-treaters hug Mom real tight,
teenagers are primed to put up a fight.
And Ghostbusters start hunting ghosts to smite
in haunted houses on Halloween night.
