In a celebration of death and fright,
goblins gather outside the pale moonlight.
For Jack-o-lanterns bathed in candlelight
morph into orange gargoyles at twilight.
And vampires and witches, masters of flight,
fly low in the shadows, just out of sight.
While gruesome ghouls appear a ghostly white,
werewolves baring their fangs threaten to bite.
And though young trick-or-treaters hug Mom tight,
teenagers are primed to put up a fight.
And Ghostbusters start hunting ghosts to smite,
checking haunted houses; Halloween night.
