When the sky begins to rumble, and the clouds are both black and gray. I think it may be God’s signal, and a good time for man to pray. For like when a storm is coming, or it’s just a chaotic day. It’s a sign that things are changing, time to hear what God has to say. Humbly turn to your Creator, he has the power to hold it at bay. He wants to love and protect you, he will guide you along the way. Have faith today you’ll make it through, Listen to know what you should do.

Great sonnet Bill, it flows like rivers to the sea... We have had some awful storms over here... but weve been fortunate compared to the rest of the UK...

God truly does hold storms at bay. We had a tremendous storm in Atlanta in 2020 on my parents 60th anniversary. We had out of town guests. We were using my bro-in-law’s cool party limo. First stop 47 miles North then 40 miles South. Looming…not kidding. Prayed Psalm 91 and we were carefree. Only thing was a quick flicker of lights at restaurant. They had one more anniversary after this before mom died. God is good!

From the looks of that cloud, one needs to be praying and getting in the storm shelter. Whoa!! What a storm. Thanks for sharing this one with us reminding us that we never know what might happen in stormy conditions. Sara K

When storms come, we should raise our hearts to God. He won't let us perish but shall send down peace and calmness. He will also direct us how to overcome such trials and calmly proceed ! A beautiful sonnet, dear Bill.

Truly, this sonnet possesses a profound depth of wisdom and contemplation, dear friend Bill. Amidst turbulent and despondent times, when a pervasive sense of melancholy threatens to engulf us, it is solely the divine presence of God that can restore our spirits to a realm of optimism.

Indeed, this is such an insightful and reflective sonnet, dear Bill.. When days are stormy and melancholy seams to capture us in its vastness, no one can bring us back to positive aura, except God himself.. You've so rightly said that these sudden shifts indicate that some changes are coming in our life and we should seek guidance of the Almighty to forever show us the right path.. I absolutely loved reading this sonnet, so full of wisdom and depth, as always, sending many best wishes! :)
