Oh How I Miss You

Like the good old days we're together everywhere but you don't bark anymore. I know you are there peaceful in my quiet dreams walking happily with me. Each visit's unique, I share my daily routine but you insist on love themes. When I said love you, you responded happily barking softly in my dream. Oh, this put a tear in my eye! I have such a soft spot for dogs, they are precious animals and forever companions! It is true, I have had dreams about my previous dogs, and being with them brought joy in my life! I have another one right now and he is so special to me, I don't know what I'd do without my furry companion! Your poem explained the grief quite excellently and allowed me to grieve again for my previous dogs! What a spectacular piece my friend! Such a tender poem, Great Work!!
