Nurture Your Virtue

Nurture the virtues of your eternal soul, those attributes that are eternal. Share your best, make it your goal, let them manifest from the internal. Let others see what will unfold, as it extends from within to the external. Share the creative energy, as you’ve been told, open your mind like a ripe kernel. Allow your thoughts to flow like a river, share your gifts, be a giver. Don’t hold back, it’s time to deliver, use all the arrows in your quiver. Nothing you’re given is meant to be held, and never a time for talents to be shelved.

Reading this I am reminded of Jesus's words in the Gospel of St. Mathew.... "Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.". Yes, our talents are to be taken out and given and not to be hidden ! Lovely poem.... dear friend!

I like your example, Valsa. When writing this one I also thought of the parable of the talents in Matt 25: 14-30. Thanks for your comments and for sharing your knowledge with me my friend. Have a joyful day! Bill
