'no Flowers,' He'D Said

Those flowers rotting on the grave, a sorry sight to see, I thought; but then I found his ghost appears and wilts them when they're freshly bought...   written 28th for Constance's Decay contest

That is sad because one wants to go put flowers on a loved ones grave, but he obviously meant what he said. My Dad wanted to be cremated he told my mom and I, after the service which my mom organised, was following the Hurst to the cemetery -- i looked at my mom, and she said she forgot, I could not forgive her for not following my Dad's wishes, but granted her wish she wanted to be cremated and we put her ashes in a hole we dug beneath my father's headstone. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
