I recalled I said 7. So, there your piece has been rated It earned top marks, not at all inflated! In schools, teacher grades on a curve Though some students "Fs" do deserve Not my Limerickian (to 'Wee's not related)

Jan, thank you. Though she is your mom, but your being her best friend now (sister keeping distance) is HOLY WORK which inside churches is called WORSHIP. You are blessed by God to do all things well ... even write excellent limericks after hating poetry (in school - I get that!). A 7.Hugs

You have stored all the best your mother gave to you in your heart so that you may dispense it to others and they too can be touched by the experience. Emile.

I can thank my mother's side of the family for my poetry but it took my husband's cancer for it to be unleashed in me as I had never written a poem since my schooldays (and I haed poetry then) but now I am making up for lost time. My aunt and uncle both wrote funny poems especially limericks so it must be in my blood:-) hugs jan xx

I am so much closer to mum since my father died - she relies on me so much now especially since my sister has nothing to do with me and to my knowledge has only contacted mum once since Christmas. :-( hugs Jan xx
