“A mother is our unwavering friend in childhood and adulthood, in all stages of life. With mother’s love, our world lights up like a starry sky, without her love, it is all darkness like a starless night.” ~ By Poet
I wake up everyday hearing my mother’s call
In her eyes I am still a baby, too small
She hurries me to brush my teeth and comb my hair
Till I leave for school, in all I do, she is there
Back from school, after a little rest each day,
With friends I cheerfully run and play
At times my mom insists that I should sit and learn
And makes me read my books like a master stern
If ever in any difficulty I chance to land
With great concern, she holds my hand
Whether I am at work or play
She is always there to show me the way
When night comes and light is out
My mother tucks me in my bed devout
She bids me sleep with a whispered prayer
That no wicked elves or ghouls come near
My mother is my all time Guide
She is always there by my side
When she is around, nothing I fear
And feel secure under her loving care.
