I suffered much heartache and pain as a child, So I took up writing, and it helped me a lot Life was chaotic, and my thoughts ran wild. I escaped in ink; I wrote stories with an easy plot, At first, I wrote about the pain locked inside As I began to heal, I penned folk tying the knot. Now I write about uplifting things with much pride, I know how it feels to feel unloved to the very core I want to lift someone’s day or change the tide. With my simple ink, show that life has more in store, When one reads my lines, they'll see my heart I also remind one of their wings so they’ll fly and soar. Above all that brought much pain, I now impart, You're much more, though you had a rocky start. Alexis Y. 06/10/2021

We are thinking somewhat alike. I wrote a poem yesterday called "On the Wings of Flight", so I liked your reminder to everyone to put on our wings and soar. This was an amazing poem. You were very inspiring, in a wonderfully poetic way. Keep it up. Bryan

I was always pushed back out of the way at get togethers or when at home I was made fun of by my sister and mom and made to feel stupid. I was resilient though. Tough. I took off into the woods or played with my animals. Didn't need anyone else and for the most part I was okay. My grandpa was someone to hide behind. In short I know whereof you speak my friend. A fine write. God Bless, JB

Hi Alexis you penned a heartfelt poem, pain and sorrow if not expelled out they might’ve a bad impact on ones health, the most famous poets are those who are able to deathless their griefs in words and make them carry that forever, and you’re doing just that. Peace of mind, smile and blessings
