I escaped in ink; I wrote stories with an easy plot, At first, I wrote about the pain locked inside As I began to heal, I penned folk tying the knot. Now I write about uplifting things with much pride, I know how it feels to feel unloved to the very core I want to lift someone’s day or change the tide.
