Making Friends
The twisted emotions of fear and apprehension of a new friendship,
Sometimes causes surging emotions initially.
Rejection and hope may both try to control your emotions,
As they flow through you and your heartbeat increases.
Life is too short to cower and avoid risk,
Cease the moment, give it a chance to begin.
A smile and hello freely given,
Begs for acceptance and cordial reply.
Hey, how are you doing?
The seeds are planted,
Fate may now give growth or death to a new friendship.
