Hashish smoke trails her along a dusky corridor Aka the hall of fires where mirage chimeras unleash Encumbered with hands splayed her crystal ball lumens wires ghostly apparitions mnemonic attachments What mystery ensues a phantasmagoria of horror nudging the demonic Sitters drenched in profuse sweat fainting one by one Alas unconscious their fate met? Coroners couldn’t ‘ve clarified Described as an arctic chill bolting across the sector through each limp body claiming mortality As icy temps rise Hypothermia responsible! for the fatality, for their demise Latter days professing onto recordings of a gathering that took place confessing that a séance performed by a mysterious woman in a trance—was the case. The Moon is waxing First quarter crescent The beckoning begins Nodding, gurgling Opening realms unseen to the naked eye Madame Mystic, psychic, a beguiling storyteller and Medium Down in a cellar, along with a Ouija volumes of her writings discovered delving into société espirita The Goldilocks of the occults Esoteric subjects, a burgeoning interest Astral travels, unexplained laws of nature, powers latent in man Madame channeled ascended masters The Voice of the Silence The Two Paths The Seven Portals "gifts" from the specters This time Madame stands to receive between intervals and only he is seated Warning him of dark spirits a dimension outside of our physical time-space reality shadowing, making absence of light a necessity To invoke them another nod Continues unabated Reveal the truth! By sacred decree, by order Behind the phenomenon details of schemes came to light Denounced as Black Magic she was no longer to fright Marked as a fraud it all a façade The moon is waning Third quarter

Anaya, thanks for introducing me to Madame Blavatsky. I had no prior idea or notion about her place in history. Quite a phenomenon. Makes me wonder what root race we belong to! Smiles!

With what chilling flair you have presented necromancy and the dark spells it is able to create. Ayana, I never knew you could juggle with such expressive words and thoughts in such a spooky manner. If I read it at night I would have looked around to see if Madam Blavatsky was around. I have always feared Ouija board though I have heard some of my friends experimenting with it. Congratulations Anaya on your well deserved POTD with your haunting probe into the occult.

Ty Valsa! Madame is quite the research. She claimed to have received her information during trances in which the Masters of Mahatmas of Tibet communicated with her and allowed her to read from the ancient Book of Dzyan. The Vedas countenance no idols; all the modern Hindu writings do" into her book The Secret Doctrine. Happy Diwali Days! ~Anaya

Too funny! So we pronounce Ouija with a hard e ending, the dictionary with an ah. Société espirite' I wanted to rhyme and so I changed it to société espirita it kinda works, espiritu is the correct (Latin). I'm a real valley gurl omG! You're light gothic! Ty, last year I contributed Halloween Limericks hence the narrative. No skeletons here Dilly!

A whirlwind romp into Madame 's darkly illuminating world of conjured-up dearly (and not so dearly) departed. Due to your narrative flair, it's a skin-tingling experience, a nightmare delight. Joseph, Helena Blavatsky's mission was to defend spiritualism against fraud. Enlightened and godmother of the new age movement. It's a creative non-fiction, the séance part is my imagination. Ty!

Dear Anaya, The eerie smoke filled hashish séance ambiance of the gypsy psychic Madame, is chilling as you unfold the phenomena with all the haunting atmosphere, demonic and other world entities in the Madame’s trance makes for any icy, chilling experience – Luckily the reprieve comes when she is denounced as a fraud and leaving only the shadows and whispers of Black Magic and lunar phases.
