Oh, Luna ...
She sticks close to me,
Through all times, best-to-worst,
For wherever troubles follow me,
She's bound to get there first.
One eerie night when I was small,
She happened on my room,
And vowed to always chase away,
The darkness and the gloom.
Once-a-month she takes a break,
And hides behind Earth's veil,
For her efforts often leave her
Feeling blue or looking pale.
So, if for that, (or cloudy nights),
Not a sliver can be found,
I regard the tides, their ebb and flow,
And I know ... she's still around.
