Love's Sonnet

To love you always of this I swear I'll pull you close with my arms that surround To kiss you warmly, where lovers share And know where we lay is now sacred ground We'll light candles so our shadows can dance Glowing beacons in our warm sensual nights They'll cling to our faces lost in romance As we succumb to their ambient lights The sweat from your tossed hair scorches and burns When night closes in on such wondrous eyes Where waves of emotion clamor and churn Delivering love's needs in silent disguise To love you always of this I've sworn To love you only, we'll be time well-worn 10/18/17 contest Chose a Topic...Love and Romance

WEll worn . That is a clever last phrase to rhyme with sworn. I loved the sensuous images in this one, Frederic.

Your words bring the shadows of two lovers into view...more than just a vivid imagination. Frederic, in candlelight, and with this beautiful song playing, you've created love and passion.
