Longing For Oneness
If only faith was always
sunny that way,
the way we pray –
the way we greet the day
opening our hearts to each
new dawn, until the waves of
light gone, having taken us
to the other side....
We open our fears to dark
the moon a reflection of
what once was, when source
seemed nearer than a faced away star,
twinkling for some other soul
now afar....
