Lonely Balcony

Lonely balcony I stand on a lonely balcony with my cup of coffee watching through weary eyes the sun rising, reflecting upon melodic waves, a rhythmic reminder of the distance that lies between us, painting a pink sherbet horizon, softly caressing seashell dotted white sand beaches glimmering, knowing it has already seen the beauty I am longing to see... you Good morning Soupers

Well what do you know. I'm in the same time zone of morning this time (lol) Good Morning Chris. Truly and honestly this is beautiful poetry. To this I say hold on to that seashell dotted white for that lonely balcony could never be a lone balcony with words and thoughts as this. She sees and witness all. All the beauty and magic that you express and she will be your home base. This is marvelous completely and entirely. Have a wonderful morning.

'you'? Maybe some other soupers, or 'her'. I had been done with books. A loss of interest. But your poems are captivating. I'm reading through your genius poems going back to the earlier pages. I have to train myself to leave 7s -- not that you need it.

Thanks so much Hannah. I have had some tell me I am wrong by using "you" in my poems, but I do that so others can relate and insert whatever name they want. Ah, the older pages, the vault...beware...you just never know what you might find there. :) And thanks again but honestly 7s are not necessary and I honestly don't even know what good they do.

I love your reflections 'upon melodic waves'. How lucky you are to see the sun rise, it has left us again here and we are bracing for more storms:) Amitiés
