Like a Swan

A swan Swimming in the clear vast lake, gliding away from the shore, Wings spread out toward the water,’'''''''''' White shadow reflected on the shimmering surface,’’’’’’’ Life is easy, catching fish whenever it feels like it, enjoying the sun, spreading angel cheer wherever it goes, dusk light ''' reflected on the pale surface of the lake; Homeward bound, the swan does not stop, floating far out and away, ‘’’’’’ Gracefully disappearing from sight; Shadows of glistening water drops, bathed in the afterglow of the setting sun, Silence reigns, swan dreams drift by, ripples of feathery softness left behind…. 13th February 2023
