Just For Fun
My daddy is a drunk,
Gets happy by the hour,
Still he’s okay with me,
I’m thankful for my family.
Grandma tells funny stories,
My ancestors were kings and queens,
Still I love that 90 pound lady.
I’m thankful for my family.
I have a baby brother,
You’d think he’d be like me,
But he’s in juvie for stealing,
I’m thankful for my family.
My Mom’s a beautiful lady,
She wears boas and high heel shoes,
But she leaves lipstick on my cheek,
I’m thankful for my family.
My sister’s expecting a baby,
She doesn’t know who’s its daddy,
But Mom acts like it’s her very own.
I’m thankful for my family.
I’m the one who turned out right,
I sit and study every night,
Wearing earplugs and eating pizza,
I’m thankful for my family.
