Just August

I’ve had my walk this steamy August day. Now showered, cool, and reading in my chair, I’m playing Christmas music. It’s my way of challenging the seasons while aware it’s too soon for a holiday display. A cool shower on a hot day refreshes so wonderfully. When I first came to Hawaii I used to take up to three showers a day. We did not have air-conditioning only a fan. My body finally acclimated to the humidity. I enjoyed your poem. Congratulations on your win. Blessings xxoo
