Journal

Quote By Poet "The pen is the tongue for many writers." Many years ago, girls loved writing in a diary. The small books came with a key, the key kept their secrets from being read. The pages, were fill filled with laughs and tears. Some pages were written with fire, fire that could light their book up. Those days and books are long gone, they were replaced with a journal book. No key to keep ones secrets safe, safe from reading eyes.

Paula, I found some old diaries just recently, no keys, but my daughter does have a lock on hers! The art of sharing thoughts and emotions now translates to creative writing. This was a fun read and congratulations! :)

What a lovely poem Paula. I too, had one of those diaries especially with the key! Keep out! I love your quote - how true! I remember having kept a diary. I used to hide it in a safe corner, without allowing anyone to peep into it. Such good practices are long gone. Now mobile comes handy to store data. Very few use even journals. Well written dear Paula.
