The world aspires toward reflection. Words are the oblique mirrors that hold our thoughts. We gaze into these word-mirrors and catch glimpses of meaning, belonging, and shelter. Behind their beautiful, bright surfaces is the dark and the silence. Words are like the god, Janus; they face outward and inward at once."
language, more than just words, a tool for expressing what’s inside for sharing the beauty, darkness, and depths of our souls for letting our various emotions take a ride language, more than just communication, a bridge that connects us all a way to share our human experience and breaking down walls that make us small language, let us choose our words with care, make them a reflection of who we are language is a gift to be treasured a beacon lighting up the darkest soul, making it aware

A great write Sara, alike Janus folk can be two faced, talking about one behind their back and not to their face, it hurts… Hugs, Beryl

Janus faced sounds familiar but i cant remember exactly what it means, however, i must say you have a very philosophical way of perceiving all that around and your words resonate and hit so strong dear sara. I especially loved the lines “ language, more than just communication, a bridge that connects us all a way to share our human experience” how true! I agree! Language a gift to be treasured and appreciated. As it is a beacon of light on so many levels in times of darkness. Loved this! Fave

Arrogance leads to humility, which leads to caution, which leads to success... So let it be with Language. Kudos, Gershon

A remarkable poem dear Sara, you beautifully delve into the intricate layers of diction, depicting it as more than just a tool for linkage. Through vivid imagery, you capture how it can convey a wide range of emotions and experiences, reflecting the complexities of human life. The metaphor of syntax as a bridge is utterly poignant, illustrating its ability to unite people and promote empathy across different cultures and viewpoints.

Let us choose our words carefully…and yet, semantics! The twisting of words, an art form for some! We do all reveal ourselves with our words. Loved your write, Sara!
