~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Kindness comes from deep within the soul, as a sort of internal sunshine. Yet as with the weather patterns in nature, my emotions can ebb and flow. There are days when I don’t feel as kind as I do on others. This is my human challenge—to remain kind when every ounce of me pulls me in the opposite direction.” Quote by the author
Kindness is more important than wisdom, the recognition of which is the beginning of wisdom.
Our mentality is characterized by its volatility. There are occasions when we exhibit utmost compassion, yet selfish tendencies inevitably emerge when we pursue our own gratification. This inclination is intrinsic to human nature. Your composition, dear Sara, is a remarkable display of profound insight and eloquence.
I appreciate your wise words, dearest Sotto. I agree...our mentality can be volitile...mine is that way when I'm exhausted or emotionally spent...have nothing left at times it seems. I'm grateful you see my words as insightful and eloquent, have a pleasant evening, your poetess friend in Texas, Sara
Our mindset is volatile. On some days we become extremely compassionate. But selfishness is there in each one of us when we seek our own pleasure! It is so natural. Your openness is much appreciated, dear Sara!
