Inspiration

I was thinking this morning about spirit and inspiration. I think that they both reside inside, put there in our creation. One meaning of inspire could indicate a spirit from within, it’s passed from one to another and doesn’t have an end. We cannot see the spirit or where the power lies, but it seems to push the buttons that help us realize, we all have gifts we’re given, a part we must play. Without our contribution, life may be less so to say. When we’re inspired to do our best, be the best that we can be, we come together with others, to build community. There’s always a cost for progress, together we will see, that compromise and trust are needed for harmony. Ideas can inspire, from either you or from me, and expand through inspiration to an unlimited degree.

We need to remember this "we all have gifts we’re given, a part we must play. Without our contribution, life may be less so to say." - None of us see, think, suspect or can contribute exactly the same thing, so it is imperative that we do our part!

I agree. We are each unique, share your magic, whatever kind you got. Things are better done together. I always like a nice mix, A poet friend in Texas, Bill

Shalom shalom my coach from the great state of Texas. I love this vskanced poem about community through compromise. Paul said, unite & please the unity of Spirit in Jesus. There are dangers of soppy writing, as in making Jesus a live- machine. Matthew 23 comes as a shock to those holding that view. A great BIBLICAL contribution, Bill PTL

Thanks for your comments, Anil, we are one in the spirit, we are one in the Lord. Have you heard the song with the line in it? It was a very popular Christian song in the 80's or 90's here in the U.S. Shalom shalom my friend, Bill

We are all Gods children and to each one gives a gift, Accept this gift with grace, and help others to inspire and their spirits lift. A Wonderful Sonnet, how much we should be grateful for. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Magnificent sonnet, Bill. I'm particularly fond of your sonnets so I was delighted to see one. This is probably the best one you've written yet....it's smooth and aptly describes that intangible we call inspiration. You address where it comes from and why it's important. With this I saw today that you used your inspiration toward the end you describe--an unlimited degree...I just can't say enough positive things about this piece. Congrats :-)
