In a land where summers last forever
in a world where beauty grows in fields
she wakes up early to greet each sunrise
and capture the morning breeze
The wind in her hair she sets out to explore
barefoot she runs through meadows
she races her bike to the beach
where seagulls wait to call her name
Her brush paints the dance of life
praises God’s creatures big and small
in a land where sunflowers sway on high
in a world where love and harmony reside
And in the coolness of the evening mist
she comes home to the quilted comfort of her chair
and happiness is a good book and hot tea
with tabby cat purring at her feet
While Mozart's symphony plays in the background
bundled in her handknit woolens
she plunges into a good read to while away each night
wholeheartedly lost in her world of make believe
