In Falling Snow
In my dream the pure white snow is falling
and I see your car on the road
as it slides and spins into a deep ravine
and my dream spirit floats
to you and the snow is falling, falling, falling
I kiss your still cold lips
while lovely memories wash over me
I see us at our wedding
in love ... dancing to a romantic song
and laughing at nothing
in a quaint cafe we liked going to
and snow is falling
It is so cold my love as I hold you in my arms
the snow is piling in odd drifts
so cold ...and I awaken shivering to the telephone
ringing, ringing, ringing
hello ... and my heart is shattered
like pieces of glass
and I stand at your grave in winter
with frozen tears
as birds sing in the falling, falling snow
the trees moan and whisper
did I hear my name in the wind
did you call my love
