My darling made Valentines Day just lovely, There were flowers and chocolates and love sizzling; He penned me sweet love letters and poems sultry. We went out for supper in lust and all cuddly, Oh, shamefully we would be clinging and kissing; My darling made Valentines Day just lovely. My body fit with his sweetly and perfectly, Desire and passion for us would never be fading; He penned me sweet love letters and poems sultry. He said, forever I would his only honey, And for no reason and often, red roses bringing; My darling made Valentines Day just lovely. The days have passed, the pages turned abruptly, Our love will never end, he will always be so uplifting; He penned me sweet love letters and poems sultry. the villanelle is lovely, excellently written....but some part of the last lines seems sad, hoping the valentine won't be as sad though...best of luck in the contest BW

Sage, thanks for the lovely and excellent, yes there is a sadness as my one true love is an angel now watching over me, so yes sadness is part of my valintines day !
