I Want It Bad - I'Ll Hurt You
Having permission to be mean has me rushing to this scene. Trouble is, I don’t want her to see or hear me because then she’ll surely fear me. I can’t let her know how low I’ll go if good poem placement doesn’t show.
Should she take my poem to use or abuse, then I’ll give her my indignation news! How dare she treat me with no care and as any less than the very best.
Obviously, she is not conscientiously aware of what my five foot, two inch frame can do. She wouldn’t mess me around if she had a clue. If my anger should stay, even throwing a stick wouldn’t make me go away.
I used to write and pace. Now I pace and think of her face. Yepper, she best give me first place. If she should choose that I lose, well, then I’ll whack her with my pen. If I go down, she, too, will hit the ground. She’ll bruise. I’d rather face disgrace than settle for no medal.
I always count syllables and use any means to enhance my rhyme schemes. I do not work so hard for her to poetry-dream-rob.
She’ll know I have power and that I’m no mouse when every hour pizza arrives at her house.
