I Dreamed

I dreamed I dreamed about the sunrise a brightly colored sky I dreamed about the ocean with waves just rolling by I dreamed about the beaches such tiny grains of sand I dreamed about the twilight serenity so grand I dreamed about the heavens those shining stars above I dreamed about the moonlight but never dreamed that love Could be what you have made it much more than it did seem As now I know that all along your love has been my dream Good night Soupers

I loved this poem that I found very evocative. It's like dreaming of love in a dream that softly comes crashing on a loving shore and returns to sea bearing of the gift of love. It has a 'tidal' musicality to it:) Amitiés

Good Morning Chris. Have a seat. The repetition was marvelously executed and the expression worked so well. Ocean love dream what a winning combination. Take your pick of what comes first but it is all together and intertwined. To this I say dream on. This entry is very much aligned and smooth. So beautiful. So poetry. Enjoy the morning and day. I loved the way you dreamt~ ~~ Of sand and ocean...Of moon and stars ,but not as beautiful as dreaming of two hearts ,and when one dreams hard enough...He will find that all He ever dreamt of,must ve turned in one deep love....Exceptional inspiring poem...A FAVE.

This is beautiful Chris, it reminds me of the Theme song of a theatrical play written by Ron my husband on my challenge and in which I helped with the Lyrics some years ago. Yours is even better and would have worked so well in conjunction. Watch out for the Second Theme after my next poem. We tweaked the lyrics to a popular musical piece. Needless to say that he never staged the musical extravaganza. While a theatrical companies were interested the cost went into millions. A Super 7++ for these lyrics

Thank you so very much Maria for your wonderful comments on my poem. I would love to hear that theme song someday and that is so cool your husband wrote a stage play. I did as well a few years back for a challenge and had a great time doing so. I never tried to do anything with it though and didn't have a theme song either. :( I did once write a script for Star Trek Next Generation but it was rejected. Oh well... :)
