How Do You Feel

all the tiny pieces of life blended together  when I met you at amber sunset,  gossamer light of the melting rays fell on us…beside a dock, with weathered grey planks,  I looked at you,  eyes met, words paused, How did you feel?  you gazed at me… after so many years of cruel separation,  eyes locked, our hearts battled with untold  emotions,  I remembered all the fragrance and fragments of our life,  which I was never able to piece together,  always felt like unsolved puzzles!  I wished for the soothing raindrops which once drizzled us like blessings,  yearned for the dreamy azure clouds floating above us,  when golden saffron-scented flower-petals sprawled on the ground....  I feel I am back to where we started,  How do you feel?  January 26, 2023 Inspired By " How Do You Feel" Poetry Contest Sponsor: Mystic Rose Rose Not Entered In The Contest
