How Do I Love Me

How do I love me? I love me for my beauty, for my auburn hair when it was there; I love me for my caring heart my x-wife did not see this part; I love me for my modesty – how can you blame me, honestly!? And when the Good Lord, sees fit to call me home, I pray He has long forgotten this poem....

Hi Evelyn; of course this was written, tongue and cheek, mostly reflecting back to younger days (much younger) when appearance meant a lot to me. I no longer wear rings, fancy watches, wear clothing that is comfortable even if holy, and I don't mean religious. I miss youth now more than trying to look good. The appearance I value most now is when I reflect God's Values. I keep trying.
