This girl so gothic, She dwells within a red rose; In folded petals she hides, From a life tragic. And from her pen beauty flows, Within petals she resides. Oh, ethereal, Her ebony hair a veil; And she drifts amongst the dead. When will sorrow heal? Oh so beautifully pale, Her words bleed, her sorrow said. ________________________ January 6, 2016 Sedoka/Rhymed Submitted to the contest, Something Different, Sedoka Form (Rhymed) Sponsor, Laura Loo First Place

Interesting take for the theme of this one, B W. I love the way you have weaved this into a poem where the gothic is not so "In your face". Congrats on your win.
