Halloween, Oh Halloween
Halloween, oh Halloween.
This day of fright is not serene.
The ruling number is thirteen,
while ghouls and bats are seen as keen!
Halloween, oh, Halloween -
a day for pranks. Don’t be too mean!
No soap on my computer screen,
but I can deal with vaseline!
Halloween, oh, Halloween -
this Eve, the dead are “in-between” -
Some evil spirits might be seen.
Call Ghost Busters to intervene!
Halloween, oh Halloween.
A spooky meal is the cuisine
Use grapes for eyeballs; for the spleen
something slitheringly obscene!
Halloween, oh halloween,
when orange hue wins over green.
But favored over tangerine
is pumpkin Jack-O-lantern’s sheen.
Halloween, oh Halloween.
A skeleton’s my figurine!
And trick-or-treaters on the scene
is how we end this day’s routine.
