Icy fingers follow trick or treaters As full moon chills this creepy night of fright. Cold wind tears at their frightening costumes Within her shadows of foreboding light. October 19, 2015 Halloween Moon Contest Sponsor Eve Roper

This is absolutely a stunning poem for Halloween my very dear friend, Connie. I loved it and enjoyed so much the read. And, I noticed that it's a winning piece and it really deserves. Warm Congratulations from me with hugs and kisses!May I also take this chance to express my belated thanks for your loving and sweet greetings on my birthday. I'm so sorry if my expression of gratitude comes only now coz I was out of country for 2 wks. Again, TYTYSSSM. God bless! Happy Halloween!Hugs! <3lots,LG

You perfectly described the scene and feelings from trick or treat nights of my youth in Illinois. It was always so cold! but if you put on a coat it hid the costume.

Congrats, Connie, a very well deserved win this is. The questionku is described under forms. It's simply 4/5/6 with last line being a question (except you don't put a question mark, which I find very odd). Try it!!

I always feel like that when walking in the dark. Too many movies and T.V. shows I guess, instill that sense of fear. Thank you for your nice comment James! Cheers, Connie

I see the moon...hanging over the unlit creaking church steeple, the wind whistling through the iron gates of the burial ground. and candy corn......lots of candy corn.
